It was very easy to use. I clicked on the link and followed the few directions that were there to get started.
\nBasically you type in what you want your creation to be called, I used "Health". Once I did that I hit get started and it took me to a blank canvas, just like Microsoft paint. It is easy to find edits to use in the drawings because you can see them all on the screen. As long as my students can follow basic directions in middle school, they can definitely use this application. I can also walk them through getting started fairly easy and quickly. Whenever the idea of adding to the live drawing comes up I think they will be fine, the only issue would be one of possible network connection or the device.
\n
\nI was thinking about ways in which I could possibly use this in my classroom. I think it would be a good tool to use during class in a scenario where the I could break the class into groups and assign them roles. Right now we are in the circulatory system and I could assign one group the task of drawing the heart and labeling it. I could give another group the task of determining which part of the heart should be colored red or blue and why. A third task could then be having a group attaching the veins and arteries; while a fourth group would color the blood vessels red or blue and tell us why.
\nAll of the above could be done in groups to have one final product for the class; or you could have each group complete their own drawing having five or six completed drawings for the class. From here either I could evaluate their understanding by drawing and writing corrections directly onto their drawing, or collaboratively making evaluations as a class.","replyPages":[{"page":0,"digests":[],"more":0}]}],"more":false},"comments":[]},"http":{"code":200,"status":"OK"},"redirectUrl":null,"javascript":null,"notices":{"warning":[],"error":[],"info":[],"success":[]}}
